OUR MISSION

As our name suggests, our mission is to one day eradicate poverty and illiteracy in the Philippines. We understand that we cannot do this by ourselves, so we need to form an alliance with others with the same purpose.

OUR GOALS

  • To bring together like-minded individuals, private associations, NGOs, and advocacy groups to produce ideas to solve the pressing problems of the populace

  • To gather resources, funds, people, and organizations that will help fulfill our purpose, interpret and consolidate the data we gather, and implement the solutions we curate

  • To invite mass participation from the citizenry, so we can all work together to overcome our country's challenges

  • To improve the way the country is run by presenting recommendations on rebuilding and revising its systems of governance

To accomplish our goals, we call for:

#1: Changes in the constitution:

  • Outlaw land-grabbing by feudal dynasties, oligarchs, government agencies, and real estate corporations that result in the displacement of farming families, fisherfolk, and indigenous people.

  • Prevent 100% ownership of local real estate and companies by foreign entities.

  • Monitor and limit the proliferation of military bases that may lead to foreign powers influencing the country’s sociopolitical climate and manipulating its military operations.

  • Eradicate impunity: Impeach and bring to justice all government officials, law enforcers, and military personnel who abuse their power and commit human rights abuses.

  • Incorporate more stringent regulations to protect victims of all forms of abuse, bullying, and the slave trade (especially child trafficking and pornography).

  • Eradicate ageism and sexism in the workplace, especially in hiring practices. Outlaw advertisements that specify gender and age without valid reasons. Penalize employers who post these.

  • Eliminate the mandatory retirement age: As long as individuals are able to satisfactorily carry out their responsibilities, they should be allowed to work.

  • Make the government “smaller.” Compress all agencies to form only essential [teams/departments]. Simplify processes. Minimize personnel. The more intricate and complicated a framework is, the greater the potential for corruption.

#2: An overhaul of the electoral process:

  • Outlaw nepotism and political dynasties from taking over the leadership of our nation. Prevent family members up to the third degree of consanguinity, including their spouses and partners, from simultaneously running in the same elections.

  • Eradicate corruption.

  • Introduce and implement an effective and hack-free system for ballot-counting.

  • Safeguard this ballot processing system to prevent any party, whether internal or external, from influencing the vote count.

  • Foster inclusivity and prevent economic status bias: Candidates who are poor and/or do not have campaign funds but are deserving should be allowed to run.

  •  Eliminate the divisive party system—treat all candidates as independents to give them an equal opportunity to win. This will solve the problems of “factions” and warring parties.
